Kiddos can keep track of their daily 60 minutes of activity by filling out an activity log. If you aren't able to print an activity log, use a blank piece of paper and pens to create your own!

3-5 students can...
- Write a list of the activities they participated in, and for how many minutes
- Reflect on their activity log, and make a plan or goal for next week (modeled below)
- Identify which component of fitness each activity worked on (see below)
- Cardiorespiratory endurance: these activities increase your heart rate
- Muscular strength: muscles are pushing or pulling during these activities
- Muscular endurance: activities that hold a position, without stopping to rest
- Flexibility: move muscles and joints through full range of motion
Here's an example of my activity log for a week, and how I reflected on my activity to help make a plan for next week!
I worked towards my 60 minutes of activity each day by running with my dog (cardio-respiratory endurance), and tried a new kettlebell workout (muscular strength).
I noticed that some days I didn't make it to my 60 minutes of activity goal. I also didn't include activities to help my flexibility. Next week I am going to try to do 15 minutes of stretching each day. This will help me work on my flexibility AND achieve my goal of 60 minutes of activity each day.

Here are a couple activity logs to get you started, or make your own log to fit your goals!
